Hello to All,

How are you feeling this week?

I am sending over to you all the sunshine and positive vibes I can until we meet again.

Now let’s go back on track with the essential part of wellbeing and let’s discuss being active.

I know once more there are many interpretations to this. In my view, being active means putting things in motion.

The motion is in being active!

There are so many ways to incorporate this in your daily routine in order to create your best/happiest and more confident life.

It can take the form of wellness and mindful activities such as spending time doing a meaningful activity that brings you joy, and not necessarily one that requires a lot of energy.

I have so many times heard about the benefit of colouring or doing other crafts like knitting or crocheting, hence why I started the colouring sessions which I hope to start again soon.

My husband developed a daily wellbeing routine by playing the guitar. He started in a bid to learn an instrument and developed it in a mindful routine.

Hal Elrod mentions taking on running same as Alastair Humphreys. Certain I could find more examples to give you.

Sometimes there can be a tendency to think that people always like to be busy therefore having the needs to incorporate hobbies, however it is the creativity of the action that brings satisfaction.

Being active also refers to wanting to surround or should I say immerse oneself with wellness. Creating a self-care routine doesn’t have to costly or time consuming, the effort should not exceed the benefit but complement it.

Colouring or art therapy lift moods, decreases anxiety and stress and will instilled a sense of inner calm and relaxation.

Physical activity of any kind will support a good mental health by reducing stress, anxiety and overall increase our self esteem giving us a clearer mind.

Knitting and crocheting bring you the same benefits as above like reduction of stress, anxiety and depression. It basically has the same effect as meditating. Focusing in the mindful motion of the needles intertwining brings an unrequited bonus by improving our motor skills leading to slowing down the onset of dementia and above all improve your mood.

Finding an activity to do is not difficult, the significance of it is finding peace and happiness within.

Did you think I was going to finish on this? Well, I couldn’t without mentioning my favourite activity.

Journaling!

I can’t stress enough how beneficial putting thoughts to paper is relieving and freeing.

Journaling is a discipline that demonstrate a commo thread between thoughts in your heads and feelings in your body.

I do hope that you find solace in these words.
And if you can and it is fitting that you will take action to be more active.

This is not an exhaustive list, as I could have mentioned way much more, share your version in the comments I’d be happy to read about it.

In this month newsletter, the focus is on supporting amazing small businesses that will help you “Be active”.

Will you be up to it?

See you soon to continue this discussion.
